Elemental is an initiative taking place across England will feature speakers and conversations from the inspirational practice of UK and international practitioners. We aim to give all those who attend (from the Arts Council England, relevant regional agencies and Local Authorities) the tools and opportunity to explore the delights and challenges of programming Street arts and Circus work and to make new and interesting links to people who can make the work happen.
Arising from a period of extensive consultation with street arts and circus practitioners as well as key figures in this sector, we have selected a series of key issues to focus on. Each regional event will therefore contribute to a major body of know-how and interest, forming a unique snapshot of the state of street arts and circus today, and providing fertile debate and contribution towards their future growth.
